NID Card Photo Change
To change your NID card photo, you need to fill out National Identity Card Amendment Form-2 at the election office of your constituency. Payment of Taka.230/- (Inclusive of VAT) is required for the National Identity Card Photo Change Application.
Bikash and Rocket, the popular online banking medium in Bangladesh, are accepted for submitting the fee for changing the photograph and signature on the national identity card.
On the scheduled date, your voter ID card information will be sent again to the server with your new photograph and signature.
It is a “B” category application to change the photograph and signature on a voter ID card. Such applications require the approval of the district election officer.
If the photo and signature change application is approved, you will be notified by mobile SMS. Online copies of National Identity Cards can be downloaded later.
For a new Smart Card, you have to apply for a Smart Card reissue. An explanation of how to change the photo on your National Identity Card is provided below:

A new Smart Card will not be issued to those who already have one. A re-issue application fee is required to collect a smart card.
