Voter ID Card Address Change Online. You can change your voter ID card address either online or offline by applying for correction of your ID card address.
Our current address and permanent address can be found on the NID server. Also marked there is the voter’s address. You can change the current address of your voter ID online. It is not possible to change a permanent address or constituency.
In order to change constituency, voters must complete form-13 and submit it to the new place where they wish to migrate. We will first learn how to change the address on your NID card in two steps. The second part of this article will explain how to change the voter area using the Voter migration form.
Rules for Voter ID Card Address Change Online
Visit the NID Service website to change the address on your NID card. Log in with your ID card number and birth date. Click on the address tab in your NID profile. Your NID account profile will look like this. Click on the address option.

To change the address, click the Edit button. Check the current address to change it.
Your address needs to be updated/corrected. Change the information by selecting Department, District, Upazila sequentially. Click next after you have made the necessary corrections.
The only information that can be corrected online is the current address of the ID card. It is not possible to change the constituency. Permanent addresses can, however, only be changed for houses/holdings and villages.
Your desired address information needs to be changed and rechecked. Submit your application after paying Rs.230 in correction fees. ID card correction fees can currently be paid through BKash.
Submitting an application The application will go under review. If the application is approved, you can download and use the ID card with the new address from online.

Change of address on voter ID cards requires completing Migration Form-13. Along with the chairman’s certificate of new address, tax papers and electricity bill, the voter transfer application form should be filled out and submitted to the upazila election office.
Your application will be scrutinized and action will be taken by the responsible officer. The Election Commission office will distribute the NID card with the new address once the application is approved.
After changing of address, you must reissue your National Identity Card if it is dated before 2018. NID cards can be reissued for Tk 230. ID card reissue is explained in detail in our tutorial.
How to Fill Out a Voter Transfer Form
You will see a two-page form if you download Migration form-13 for voter address changes. First, print the application. The application form will have a blank space for you to write the name of your new address, such as the Upazila or Thana name of your new address, followed by the district name.
You fill out carefully according to your ID card the applicant name, NID number, and date of birth. Please fill out the voter details on your current National Identity Card, including your voter number, the name of the voter area and district, the name of the village with upazila, as well as the address of the house you live in.
You can, however, get your voter number and voter area number from the union parishad office or upazila if you do not know them.
A voter should provide the address of the constituency they wish to move to. You should also provide a detailed address with district, upazila, ward, and voter area information. As you observe the above form, you will see what I mean.
The application form cannot contain any incorrect information. If you don’t know anything, ask someone who does. If you need information for an application, you should contact your Union Parishad or City Corporation.
Change of Constituency in Voter ID
The voter area is determined based on the address on the voter’s ID card. Changing the address of the ID card is possible if the voter changes jobs, gets married, or moves residences.
Changing the address of a voter is called voter migration. To request a voter transfer, you must file an application with the local election commission office in the area in which you intend to vote.
Voter migration form is used to migrate voters from one address to another. In most cases, it is referred to as Migration Form-13. The address on your ID card may be incorrect, or the postcode may be incorrect, or the village name may be incorrect, so it will need to be corrected online.
But today we will talk about how to transfer a voter from one address to another. There is a huge difference between changing the address on an ID card and changing the address on a voter registration card.
